Working Together in a Working Landscape
The South Downs Land Management Group (SDLMG) has been formed by local farmers and landowners in order to help the Authority achieve the best possible National Park for all concerned including our own community.
SDLMG aims to sustain a prosperous community in a well cared for landscape. The land in the South Downs is owned and cared for by many different private individuals and businesses, and a few larger organisations and public bodies. The National Park has not changed this but brings new challenges and opportunities.
The SDLMG welcomes as members farmers and foresters, landowners and their tenants, farm workers at every level, and the agents and professionals who support them.
